LifeSize . provider of high definition video communications, has signed up with channel partners in China and Australia to expand their operations in the Asia Pacific region.   ZTE Corporation, a Chinese information technology distributor, will be the company's new channel partner in China. ZTE will distribute high definition video communications products in the prosperous and growing market of China. Earlier this month, LifeSize entered into a similar agreement with Westan, a leading Australian technology distributor to distribute its products in Australia.     Under the agreement, ZTE will offer LifeSize's all-HD video communication product portfolio to its national base of customers, resellers and distributors. ZTE distributes products of virtually every sector of the wireline, wireless, terminal and service markets.   "We are honored that ZTE has chosen to partner with LifeSize. Our video communication products compliment their portfolio of advanced telecommunications products that are improving the productivity, quality of life and social harmony of China, With video, even rural areas can participate fully in the social, economic and scientific development of the nation" said William Yu, Regional Director, LifeSize Asia Pacific.    The product portfolio of LifeSize ranges from simple point-to-point video systems to highly customized, multi-display, multi-HD camera video systems. LifeSize products offer an immersive, high definition telepresence experience over existing broadband networks, according to a statement of the company.   "Our partnership with LifeSize reflects ZTE's commitment to bringing China the best technologies in the world," says Qian Min, Videoconferencing system product manager, Multimedia & Terminal product department of ZTE Corporation.
