How To Make a Polycom Viewstation Video Conference Call

  • Turn on the Polycom. On the back left hand side of the Polycom unit is the on switch. Flip it up.
  • Turn on your television and VCR if you use a VCR with the unit.
  • Place the triangular microphone in the middle of the conference table.
  • Use your Black Polycom remote for the rest of this instruction.
  • Use the Red arrow keys to highlight "Video Call"
    1. Press the center Red button on the remote.
  • Type in the Address you wish to call.
    1. Use the right arrow button to make a period.
    2. Make sure that the call speed is set to 386.
    3. Press the middle red button to initiate the call.
  • To hang up, press the green button at the top of the remote "Call?Hang-Up".
    1. Press the middle red button to hang up.
    2. Use the arrow keys to highlight the "Stay In Call" button to stay in the call.
    3. If asked to add the address to the address book choose no.
